Ken Stampfer

As an enthusiastic photographer for over 40 years, I appreciate the advances in digital imaging and the internet access that encourage us to learn from one another and share our vision. While most of my earlier outdoor and landscape images were from the White Mountains region of New Hampshire, I also enjoyed capturing scenes around metropolitan Boston and Cape Cod. Several years ago I became fascinated with bird photography, mostly in New England, but with occasional trips elsewhere, such as Costa Rica early in 2020. After retiring fully from ophthalmology later in 2020, I moved to San Francisco, where opportunities for birding and capturing images that celebrate the natural world are abundant. As always, I welcome feedback from others...
